Introducing... COLOR!

Anyway, there's next to no dialogue here. In fact, this is the "quietest" page dialogue-wise. Fortunately, it is also the busiest artistically.

Depicted here is the busy morning routine required of Rain in order to pass in her presentation. Originally, I wasn't going to do this, but I thought it might be kind of insightful, especially to those readers who are in fact not transgendered. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the montage; it was the first time I'd ever had to draw a lot of these actions. And thanks to this comic, I wonder if it won't be the last.

You know... I'm starting to think maybe it wasn't a phase after all... ^^;

Sooo, I just went and read the whole comic in a day because it was just that good... but I just popped back here because I wanted to read some of the older stuff again, and I noticed that here Rain and Fara are living in a house, but later on it's an apartment complex... unless it's a very small, homely, apartment complex it seems a bit off :P

@Ave6:

This is something I never explained very well, because I made the mistake of assuming this was more common than it apparently is.

It still is a house. It's just a house composed of two apartments. Rain and Fara live on the second floor, whereas Heather and Kylie live on the first floor.

I don't know how often you see this anywhere else, but in upstate NY (which is pretty much all of the world I know) it seems to be fairly common. I've lived at four separate apartments in my life that were inside normal houses. There was essentially another family upstairs or downstairs. It was blocked off (it's not like I'd ever bump into my neighbor sitting in my living room or anything), but we technically lived in different apartments in the same house. And that's the kind of setting I was going for here. I did not convey this well though, and for that, I am sorry.

I just noticed that Rain is always wearing that band around her neck, probably to hide her adam's apple. Nice attention to detail!
