Yup. Holly and Devon. Having them chat at the Halloween party was a pretty spur-of-the-moment decision moreso to include two side characters who didn’t really do much overall during that chapter. But I dunno, when I saw them standing next to each other, I felt like it just worked. So, I hooked them up. Why not? It felt right. And what can I say? I’ve been enjoying developing the secondary characters.
But also, more importantly, Emily dumps Chase. After the Halloween party fiasco, largely caused by Chase, it shouldn’t be too surprising. Really, he’s lucky she didn’t report him to the police.
And as much as I feel bad for Emily (it sucks not being in a relationship when it seems like everyone else is doing so well), I admit I’ve been in Debbie’s shoes too (hating your friend’s partner so much you get satisfaction out of them breaking up).
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Hey there. I like the new look (of you, not the comic hehe). I absolutely love this comic. I look forward to it every single day. :)
I absolutely love this comic, along with the insight you share with us. Thanks for writing such an amazing comic!
Thank you very much! I thought I was long overdue for an avy change. ^_^
Also, I'm glad you're enjoying the comic so far!
And thank you too! I'm glad you're enjoying it!
My name is Holly-Marie, and my ex's name is Devon, and that is just weird lol :P
Aw, Chase wasn't so bad. All he did was tell the kids he didn't mind if they helped themselves to a beer.
Anyway, it's good that he's broken up with Emily. Now he can hook up with Fara. I mean, if Ellen isn't going to be available, he's a good second choice for her. That anime guy is just feels a little creepy, and who even wears sideburns non-jokingly?
