Introducing the Adventures of Ryan, the Totally Norm-… wait a second… O_o
Seriously though, this is the start of a potentially very interesting turn of events. Some readers have basically been demanding something like this to happen since Chapter 1. Others of you guessed this direction with the last page but hoped you were wrong. I hesitate to agree with what Rain’s doing here, and yet I can hardly blame her. Coming out to someone - especially family - is hard.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

I think Rain looks cute in that outfit, assuming even if she is trying to be perceived as male.
I figured it would be like this but I was hoping it wouldn't be. I prefer female Rain to male Ryan. I agree with OHKA though, Rain still looks cute.
she still looks female even when dressed as a male
So could have been a two pager, but oh the previously experienced suspense.
I'm actually saddened to see that she couldn't tell him...though, it really can be hard to tell your family anything at times.
Clearly now we need to bring in "Ruby" to play the role of the expected "girlfriend", and the ruse shall be complete. :P Nothing can possibly go wrong!
@LittleLynn84: Is it me, or is she coming across as just as feminine despite her appearance. :) In other news, I complete agree with Fara, though I believe she could have been more supportive of Rain prior to her brother showing up. Perhaps encouragement and support ("I'll be here for you no matter what he does") could have led to avoiding this situation entirely. Then again, this *is* something Rain has to do on her own... I dunno what the right answer is. Heh
I did actually think that was girl-Rain until Aunt Farah's comment :) (Is it Farah or Fara?)
I agree with Meh.aloe, Ruby Ruby Ruby! Although that would probably go down as well as it did at Hallowe'en... :D
Well, coming out is definately harder to do with people who have known you as something else your whole life. I told my little brother first that I was bi. Then the rest of the family learned when my sister was making some rude comments about gays and I got so frustrated that I blurted out, "I'm bi!" My mom still to this day thinks it's just in my head and I'm 27 now. But it was a heck of a lot easier telling my husband when we first met, than my family, 'cause he was a complete stranger at the time. Funny thing though, the same sister is having all kinds of orientation conflicts now. She has a boyfriend, but said she could be lesbian or even transgendered. I think more than likely she's just bi like me, but she'll figure it out eventually.
This and the last couple of pages more or less happened to me IRL, with me trying to escape and everything. When I had to see my brother, I was dressed exactly like Rain here, ponytail and all. And I got the *same* comments about being in a band and having chicks all over me. GET THAT CAMERA OUT OF MY LIFE !!
Even the rolled up sleeves, brown hair, and green eyes are the same! /traumatized
Anyone else think she looks like Edward Elric?
Oh my God.. Rain's left eye sees the light!
I wonder if her vision's a little off from all that time using only one.
