Looking at this again, I’m struggling to find anything to add here. So take this as is, I suppose.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Also, Rain - Volume 1 is out now! Have you ordered your copy yet?
As long as you’re clicking links, maybe you’d like to vote for "Rain" on TopWebComics too?
@LittleLynn84: Yes, I've ordered (and now own) my copy of Rain volume 1. It's fortunate that Rain is seeing print. When can we expect to see Rain volume 2?
Do I get what's going on in the exchange between Rain and Kylie?
Kylie believes that Rain's sex, the physical body she was born with, should determine how Rain presents herself.
Rain believes that she is a girl, and that her identity as a girl should determine how she presents herself.
Questions: what are your thoughts?
Should Rain's sex or her (gender) identity determine how she presents herself?
What is the importance of Rain's presentation of herself?
Is it (or should it be) Rain's right to choose how she presents herself?
Is it (or should it be) Rain's right to keep her sex private?
Should Rain's sex be public knowledge?
Why would someone want to know Rain's sex?
Ah, touché Kylie.
Rain is actually starting to look like a boy on these last 2 pages?!?!
@LittleLynn84: I ordered the book! I totally missed it when it first came out, but it's ordered now. I'm so excited! I even posted on Facebook about it. I'm not "out" to anybody but my wife and a couple of online friends, so I'm sure to get some questions about it, but that's okay, nothing could stop me from ordering your wonderful book. :)
And now the guilt driven drama has been seeded!
Holy cow, Rain actually looks like a dude right here o.o Mind = blown
It's frustrating that Kylie doesn't get it. By the way, does Gavin understand Rain yet?
I think I get it... Ky(lie) is just so genderfluid that she, er he, doesn't really see what the big deal is - just go by your birth sex but you live by your brain's gender. If I'm getting the concept across correctly.
And if I'm right in my hunch, then SOMEBODY is being a little hypocritical.
gah the same thing happened when I told my friend Gilly that i was trans. "Woah, you were born a boy?!"
"No, I was born physically a girl. But I'm mentally a guy."
"I don't get it..."
gfjghfljhlkjw its so frustrating.
Rain has a nose!
