Kylie has gone through a lot of inner turmoil in this comic. It’s nice to see the kid come to terms with things a little… even if, perhaps only temporarily.
Heather is also a pretty complex character, but we’ve only really seen her in passing throughout the story thus far. Her motivations always seem fuzzy. The one thing that is clear, is that she cares about Kylie, even if many of her concerns are pretty misguided.
What can we take from this? Well, you tell me. ^_^
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

awee that is true Ky going to have it tough because he/she doesnt want to just be a girl or boy and if mtf/ftm confuse people imagine how gender queer people have it. Heather reminds me of my sis sometimes.
I really like Heather as a character. She's flawed in her thinking but comes across as genuinely caring.
@LittleLynn84: i am proud of heather and ky i think its sweet they can come to a compramise. and i love her/his outfit where did u get the idea and where can i get it.
Why the heck does Rain's friends keep outing her to everyone and their grandmother. Eech.
Ky is happy at the moment, which is good for her. She is either an early trans man figuring things out, gender queer, or perhaps even bigender.
Also, I thought the sister didn't know about Rain being trans?
@Ohka and Eira:
Ah. Quite the contrary. Heather figured Rain out before Kylie did.
The catch is, that's part of what I mean when I say "her motivations seem fuzzy". Because we still have no idea how she managed to come to said conclusion. ^_^
@LittleLynn84: I know this post is from long ago, but do you plan on showing us Heather's stance on it all, her motivations, etc.? You seem to play with this quite a bit.
Kylie is my new role model. I've been trying to figure out my gender for ages now and it's so cool to see that part of me reflected here :) Thanks so much for this comic, by the way. I really look forward to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays because I know another page will be up.
@Ohka: My guess is bigender or gender-fluid. She doesn't say she's not a guy or a girl, she says she *is* a guy *and* a girl (if less assertively)
