Whoa… O_O
Um, thoughts?

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
(As an aside, I hope this doesn’t ruin the mood or anything, but I am officially fulltime as of today. Still need to get my name and legal gender fixed, but progress like this feels amazing! ^_^)
i think that convo will change him for good and will change how he is veiwing things right now
wow that hurt i know it hurts when my sister compares me to our father. Maybe then hed learn to accept rain and his fiance
Seriously. This guy needs to have this lecture and be thrown out to think, on his own, about what a jerk he's been.
So we now learned about the dad.
I do hope Aiken comes to his senses and learns to figure out how to accept these people in his life. I also really hope Aiken gets back together with his fiancee and she comes to visit and becomes Rain's role model and mentor for transition perhaps.
Looks like Rain's Father is a jerk if I were Aiken I rather just develop my own personality rather than acting like my parents also does Rain's Sister act like her father or her mother
Amazing pages Lynn.
Congradulations on getting to be yourself all the time now. Never let anyone take it from you for even a second - this is yours!
Apply ice to the burn.
Seriously, though, Aiken's had this coming. Someone needed to tell him and help him to hopefully eventually correct his problems. He can't go around disregarding and hurting the people he loves while always thinking THEY'RE the ones at fault for his problems. Like in most support groups, the first step is to admit you have a problem.
Also also, that is seriously awesome for you, Lynn. Congrats!
@LittleLynn84: I've got to say that I love your comic, I just came across it and read through it in one sitting! I can definitely relate to awkwardness, I've been living full time for more than 2 years now and only since starting HRT last April have I become totally comfortable just being me.
A huge congrats with going full time, it's a big step, but soooooo worth it! I need to get my butt in gear and finally get around to legally changing my name and gender, but I'm more than a little anxious about all the paperwork and (ew) phone calls that follow it.
*hugs* I can't wait to follow the continuing adventures of wild and wacky group, seeing Rain smile gives me so many squishy feels!!! <3
You just made my *week* with that bitch-slap! tytytytytyty~! Glasses and everything! xD lil' bastard deserved it!
Oh and grats on that there full time stuff. It's going to be such an indescribable relief.
and this started all because of a mii character
I hope he learned his lesson though
@LittleLynn84: Wooo, go Aunt Fara, and go you! It's an amazing feeling, isn't it? Grats!!!
Well my first thought when I read the first two panels was "you what!?" - but that was cos I thought it was Heather talking to Ky, for some reason :P My second thought was "I fail", and my third thought was "go Fara!" :D
As for Aiken, I'm not sure (really, I can't decide :P) if he deserves a second chance with Rain or his fiancée, or whether I'd give him one if I was in either of their shoes, or how long I'd need before I was able to give him one, but whatever either of them decide I hope he learns from this experience and gains some respect for trans people.
@LittleLynn84: Holy cow! I'm in shock... as is Aiken from the looks of it. Well, we always knew nobody should mess with Aunt Fara, now we know why.
Anybody notice how Aiken suddenly looks like a disgruntled teen once his glasses are gone? Well drawn! :)
@LittleLynn84: I missed your aside at first. CONGRATULATIONS! What a huge, huge step. :) May every day dawn brighter for you hon. :)
What a great two pages!
Lynn this is such a great story!
I really like the delivery on this. I just can't get over it.
PS: Congrats by the way!
Except...I'm just a little hazy on the subject; you're a full time employee? or a full time lady? or...wait, am I being rude? I hope not DX cause I don't mean to be.
@WiddleMow:
It's no problem, hon. ^_^ By "fulltime", I mean to say that I will only be presenting as female from now on. Although I presented this way already a LOT of the time, I was still kind of living a double life. Now, I'm en femme at all times. I even sealed it by setting aside all of my guy clothes to be donated to Goodwill (which was very liberating). It's where I got a lot of my girl clothes. I keep thinking, maybe if I donate, my old guy clothes will end up going to some transman someday, and that thought - however unlikely - makes me smile.
@Alyce, Hueloovoo, Claire, Elissa, Shiori-Tsumi, Greenkrog and pretty much everyone else, whether you said it or not:
Thank you very much! It really means a lot to me! ^_^
@LittleLynn84: *hugs* you're very welcome dear!!! <3
@LittleLynn84: You're very welcome. Funny you should mention Goodwill. I work for Goodwill of Central Indiana. You are by no means the first transPerson to frequent our stores. It's a known phenomenon. :) Absolutely wonderful that you would donate your clothes to "give back" so to speak.
You are undergoing an amazing journey, and one that I myself am not brave/strong enough to do on my own as of yet. My heart warms at your perseverence. :)
Just caught up to this page! God, I wish there was more to read. Really, the story is amazing, I can't believe you created all these great characters, there's no way not to love this story!
(By the way, congrats on going fulltime! (: )
I guess now we find out if Aiken's made of stern-enough-stuff to actually confront his hatred of trans people; or if he'll be stubborn and just blame Fara's actions on Rain...
Congrats on going full-time by the way. <3
Fara had the right to be posses off and kick him out because honestly rain does not deserve that bs from Aiken and is fragile.
Anyway wonder who Fara's Girlfriend is?
W...Wow o_o This explains an awful lot.
@Lyn Congratulations!
Yes! Confrontation time :D Glad to see Aunt Fara putting her foot down. I can't wait to see what happens next!! It's surprising how much younger Aiken looks without his glasses on, too.
By the way, congratulations on going fulltime :) I imagine it feels pretty darn good, huh? *hugs*
I feel sorry for him.
Fara was right to stand up to him, but it must still be painful for everyone.
First off, Fara slapped him... YES!!
Secondly, Aiken looks (appropriately) like he feels like a piece of crap. I kind of wonder if it's because he knows how he's hurt people that are supposedly important to him, or just because he's getting chewed out. The next few pages should be interesting.
And last but not least, congrats on going full-time, Lynn! I may not be trans myself, but it's always encouraging to hear about people are.. realizing themselves?
I find myself tempted to make a pun about getting rid of vestiges and vestments?
Last panel of first page: just what i was thinking fara
