Soooooo, here’s a topic that hasn’t been talked about very much so far (surprisingly). It was inevitable that it’d come up at some point though, I guess.
So how about a random thought to pollute your minds with and initiate a little speculative discussion: do you think there’s anyone else in that room who isn’t? Who and why?

;D Oh boy! I am first xD
the things I care about are rediculous.
Anyway, the main question:
I think that everyone is a virgin. If i had to pick someone, I'd say Rudy because maybe since he's been out the longest/most well known as gay, he had a little secret somethin-something with some other guy.
I think Kylie, Chanel, and Rain are absolutely virgins, due to their unknown-to-the-public sexuality. As for Maria and Gavin, I'd just straight out say yes. He was her...uh...she-beard? So, that means those two werent together and since Maria was in the closet it's not like any lady knew and could've developed something with her.
As for Gavin, nothing normal seems to go his way xD
But then again, this is in a perfect world where nobody had a cruel thing happen to them.
EDIT: question...why is it a shocker to them that Emily isn't a virgin?
I lost my virginity in high school right before I turned 18 (I'm older for my grade) to my boyfriend of (then) 2 years (Now its 4yr2month!). Considering how others lose theirs earlier than me, I don't quite understand the "huh!?" factor.
My money is on Maria having had an encounter of the intimate variety. Everyone else, probably virgins!
I was 16, personally, so I know what you're saying. But the "huh!? factor", as you say, is actually a bit complicated than the obvious. For Rain, I would say she's probably innocent enough to be genuinely surprised. But Maria and Rudy? I would argue that there's less surprise about what Emily said, and more about that Emily actually admitted to it. Thanks to the wonders of the double standard [/sarcasm], if a guy in high school says something like that, that's a badge of honor. A girl who openly says that, can be quickly branded a slut (it's not a guarantee, I know, but it IS likely).
So, that Emily didn't simply lie or try to hide from it, is really meant to show another layer of how much she's dropped her defenses at this party. Does she just trust everyone there not to spread this information around the school? Does she not care if they do?
You know, just typical "Rain" twisty developments. XD
@LittleLynn84: Is it odd that, and I hope I have this right, because she was dating that older guy, that Rain's brother called, (His name escapes my memory, there was a Halloween party at his house,) that, I'm not surprised she isn't, and that Emily probably lost her, um... "flower", to him?
Everyone in there is a virgin except for one person: Gavin. Gavin isn't a virgin because he's a sexy beast.
Was that my outside voice?
The suprise suprised me too, but because I assumed it was common knowledge for some reason that Emily specifically wasn't a virgin. I hope nobody gossips or slut-shames about this, but knowing Rudy he won't have any personal problems with it but he can't resist gossip -.-; The first thing he did after meeting Rain was tell Gavin & Maria she was "a boy", after all
You know, that really cleared up a lot. Thanks! :3
Booo double standards - 3-
I think...Emily might not care in a way. She already missed perfect attendence and mentioned way earlier on that her perfect year was ruined. Maybe after all that, her parents being away, that awful phone call with Chase, she just doesn't give a flying poo anymore. I still hope she gets to be the valedictorian though... that'd be nice ^^
XD Typical "rain" twisty developments FOR THE WIN. rawr.<3
Is it just me or do I find Rudy hillarious in this chapter
Also one question, is Maria the only one at the moment in Rain's house who dislikes Emily?
I agree; Rudy is hilarious this chapter!
I don't know for sure, but I think you're right. I agree thinking that Maria is the only one who dislikes Emily, but I think its because of a grudge.
Rain obviously doesn't dislike emily
Gavin and Ky don't really care it seems.
Chanel doesn't know her until now
Rudy seems to have an opinion (he said she was trouble earlier on) but maybe he's not as...grudge-holding?
I think Emily feels that she is more mature than the others so, to her, or at least the person she wants to project, being a virgin or not being one is no big deal. But it may be she is trying to open up also. Or a mixture.
Rain and her friends are nerds, and as a nerd, I know that a group of teenage nerd friends could easily get surprised by another teenager admitting to not being a virgin.
@LittleLynn84 yeah the double-standard is really horrid, and I think Emily is being really brave to open up in a way that could hurt her socially at school.
Then again, maybe she's sick of games and bulls%^$ and has a mature mindset that in the confines of the game it's ok to admit to something that /shouldn't/ be a big deal!
Then again I didn't lose my virginity until after 20, but then I was a nervous wreck and oblivious to any hints from people who may have liked me. :|
Re-reading cause I got Volume 1 in the mail and then, naturally, wanted to read everything after that again.
But, in my opinion, the only real possible candidates for having done the sexings require process of elimination.
Rain: Obviously not.
Gavin: Only relationship has been with a lesbian.
Maria: Been so tight in the closet that it's highly unlikely.
Rudy: Self confessed to never having a relationship before.
Chanel: Possible. Might even be part of her distaste for men.
Ky: Possible. Claims to be bi and seems more confident and grown-up then the others when it comes relationships.
