A lot gets said here, but I'm not really sure what to add.

Thoughts on your end are welcome though.

This might be a dumb question, but was Fara be upset about Vincent being a guy if she's bisexual?

Also did Vincent have to go back to school to become a therapist? This was, like, 15 years ago, so it wouldn't surprise me

@Haldo: I was thinking that, but then gender is (or can be) a big part of who a oerson is. On the other hand, Vincent is saying he's been a man all along not that he's becoming one, and Fara seems to have understood that, so the person she fell in love with isn't changing. I guess maybe she didn't INITIALLY understand that though?

@Haldo:

Fara's orientation is irrelevant to her reaction, I think. It can be a lot to take in when someone you care about, whom you've spent a lot of time around, suddenly tells you that they're not quite what they claimed to be. She wasn't really upset (technically, he never said she was upset), just... surprised.

Incidentally, this is sort of taken from my own experience. I came out to the woman who would later be my wife (who is herself pansexual) before we were even going out (we'd been friends for a while though, and we both liked each other). When I told her though, she went very quiet, and essentially disappeared for a week. But then she came back and asked me out. Some people just need time to let these things sink in. I think that's kinda normal, to be honest.

As for how Vincent wound up at his current gig, I may go into this later, so for now, let's just say a lot can happen in 15 years.

I didn't think it was possible , but Fara
just got more awesome. Most people would ran off or got seriously angry. She stuck around. That takes guts

This page and comic makes me so sick. I mean, when beautiful women just become men, and here I am, big, hairy dude who wants nothing more than be a perfectly ordinary girl. I get so sad I just want to throw up and jump from a bridge. And I don't even have dysphoria. Fuck this world.

@isten: Not dysphoria? What you described sounds pretty much exactly like dysphoria.
And please don't do such drastic things as jumping off bridges unless you have to. 'Perfectly' may not be possible, but you can be an ordinary girl.

Fara's pretty awesome, isn't she? Vincent's cool too.

Also, I wonder if you could have had Vincent's story as just an unframed flashback. I mean, without him going out for lunch with Rain and Jessica. Or maybe he could tell Rain during their next appointment.

You know what? It's really awkward to know that Vincent is a guy and is starting to be open about it but I also think that he is the cutest feminine presenting character in the story so far. Vivi is just so cute but that presentation is a stealth cover.
