Lots of you predicted the possibility of the matchmaking scenario. But also, lots of you projected why this would be a bad idea. I wonder what will end up happening. I suppose we'll find out around the time of Rain's next appointment. ^_^
Short chapters apparently always come in twos. Chapters 7 and 8 were short ones. And now, Chapters 18 and 19. The next chapter will return to a more regular length, with all the scene-jumping shenanigans that go with it.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
"around the time of Rain's next appointment."
Now that's plain cruel.
On a related topic, that's something that has always baffled me. Vincent has, in not as many words, politely asked not to be set back up with Fara. Hearing this, our heroes decide to set Vincent up with Fara.
What? That seems rather disrespectful, as if they don't think the man knows what his own best interest is. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, but that simple disregard is meddlesome.
...SQUEEEEEEEEEE! I hope their match making goes well.
@Pretzel: Lol, somehow I can see a Rain Delay coming from this, with a return of Adventures of Ryan, where Ryan and a male version of Jess discuss getting Vivian and Fara back together, but decide not to, since Vivian asked them to not do that
*adds FaraXVincent to the shipping wall*
*lol* Jessica is being exactly the kind of meddling matchmaker I expected she'd be :)
I just hope it's not going to be an obstacle for Rain's transition. We know there's other therapists where Vincent works, and I don't think he'd work closely with gatekeepery folks, but still, he's a really rare diamond I think.
Nooo what are you doing just give him Fara's number and say "She'd love to hear from an old friend" you're taking it too far this can only end badly noooooo
Such a traditional story trope that almost never ends well > ~ <
Well, let's see what happens *ambiguous wink ;)*
Emotions are telling me to ship them, but reason is telling me that this could end bad.
