Let it be said of Emily's character: if she really regretted her choice that much, she would have done something about it by now. That said, no choice is without consequences. Especially big life-changing choices like, for example, pregnancy or transition. I bawled my eyes out the night before I went fulltime. I couldn't even tell you why, but I felt fantastic after I did. Sometimes, you just need a good cry.
Also, don't worry. I'm not gonna do something super cliche and have Emily go into labor at the prom. I can't think of any examples off the top of my head, but I feel like I've seen it happen in a lot of shows/movies in the past. So it'd be way too easy and I'm not doing it, so let's debunk the heck out of that theory right now. XD
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).
Awww!! Emily! *hands tissue*
Well she had to crack sometime. She is being really mature about the whole pregnancy but she still is going to be a single teenage mother. She doesn't have family or a loving mother to support her and during these times it puts stress on you. Stay strong Emily!
And, by double standards, the school would look down on her getting an abortion, too. *sigh*
@ember: And a lot of society, too! Poor Emily. This must makes me want to hug all the teenage mothers and tell them it's going to be okay.
Prom was nice. It was fun getting dressed up and looking pretty.
The people there were kind of annoying, but it was still fun.
OK, honestly, Emily reminds me of Sharpay from the HSM movies... When Sharpay actually tried to be nice. It's exactly how I'd imagine Sharpay if she changed her ways after HSM2 and was totally buddy-buddy with Gabriella... Or was making an effort, anyways.
Thank you for being up front by saying that she won't give birth at prom. That would have been a horrible cliché and trope and I'm very happy you subverted it.
She's gonna go into labor at an even worse time and place, isn't she...? :c
Ugh, I've never understood "having a good cry". I've never had a "good cry" in my life. :/
