"We'll give them what they want and play along." "Smooch!" Uh... ahem. You know; starting now, that is. XD
After a couple bummer pages, that second one here fills me with copious amounts of happy. Was it risky, even if they made sure no one looking? Of course. Was it worth it? Always! ^_^
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).
OMG! Her Birthday, and we are getting the to the Valentine Day, and the date, and the kiss was so cute! XD
This certainly gives a new meaning to "going stealth"...
I'm glad to see Mariah and Chanel were not willing to give up so easily. TRUE LOVE PREVAILS!
I'm choosing to interpret this as "lets keep it quiet" rather than "let's not date" :) And it's probably a wise decision. Pick your battles, fight from a position of strength. In this case, I guess that means fighting clericalist mindsets in settings where they're less vulnerable, like message boards and stuff, and by keeping their relationship alive in quiet
Good news, Rain Beaus! Rain - Volume 2 is finally available for purchase! :D
Go here to get your copy today!
This 248-page book continues the story where Volume 1 left off, beginning with Chapter 7 and closing with Chapter 14. In addition, it contains all Rain Delay gag comics associated with those chapters (including Guest Rain Delays), lots of original art, and even fan art! Finally, it features an exclusive bonus chapter that won't be seen online, "Chapter B: A Rose by Any Other Name", which revolves around events from Maria's past.
And for concerned parties who own Volume 1 and had trouble with fuzzy text, that issue is resolved. Everything in Volume 2 is much clearer and crisper. It's definitely more easy on the eyes (especially since you can watch my art improve over the course of the book).
Also, Volume 2 IS slightly more expensive than Volume 1. I didn't really want to do it, but in return, you do get a thicker book with more content and higher quality, so I'm hoping it kinda balances out.
Anyway, that's all out of me. Have a lovely day everyone, and enjoy the book if you buy it! <3
Omg, yessss. I've been waiting for volume 2, and am really excited! I SHALL BUY IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I'm liking how it's to have higher text quality. While the lower text quality of volume one wasn't something to stop me from reading, I didn't expect it. Looking forward to volume 2!
You bring up an interesting question here. Why is it anyone's business who you date?
How does two girls dating each other like maria and Chanel hurt or disrupt anyways?
It makes no difference to what I do today, or what I do at work or at home or
ts local political situation or the environment or anything. So why would people care at all
what makes it their business?
I'm trying to logically think this out, but I got nothing? If you asked an insight from any of you.
I gladly hear it makes no sense to me! On logically I go over a few ideas, but most of seem
to be idiots and racism of sorts. I'm hoping their reasoning something greater, but doubtful
Please illuminate us all in the future. On the why?
@Guest: It doesn't. Jocelyn is showing homophobic and otherwise oppressive attitudes as plot and to criticise them, not to condone them.
As for the school's reasoning, they're blaming Maria & Nelly for other students' & staff's disruptive (and more importantly) homophobic response. At least I assume that's it anyway.
Aww, they're so cute ^_^
