"When the quiet one talks, you shut up and listen." This is a common half-joke in my friend group for whenever I actually speak up and add to a conversation (I'm the shy one). They say I "don't say much, but when I do, it's either very wise or very funny." I'm pretty proud of that, actually. o///o
Anyway, it's kinda fitting for Rain here too. Normally, she wouldn't get involved in this kind of conversation (especially with someone she's little more than an acquaintance with). But here she is chiming in when Rudy's ready to dismiss him. Where is this even coming from?
And I wonder what Rain has to say. ^_^
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
In case you hadn't gotten the memo yet, Rain - Volume 2 is FINALLY available for purchase! It covers Chapters 7 through 14 (plus an exclusive bonus chapter), and features much higher quality (no more fuzzy text). So check it out if you can. ^_^
I checked at 10:16 on sunday -- now I have to wait till tesday evening or wednesday. T_T... way to delay gratification, me.
I gotta feelin' that they're both blushing because they both know/realise what Rain's gonna say...
0_0 I was NOT expecting that. But now this is my newest ship.
Interesting. Both of the boys were trying to figure it out, and the amazing Rain knows what's really going on. Can't wait to see.
I'm guessing something on the lines of "I've recently developed a crush on a girl who may or may not be named and I've been starting to notice other girls more than guys"
He's fluid, maybe?
I'm still not sure what Rain will say, but I'm excited about it - love seeing some new character development, and I sense this will also help Rain figure some stuff about herself!
@Lenn: looks like shifting sexuality. I think/hope he's going to ask Rudy out.
The Characters tab needs some updating. It still has Emily marked as Straight when she's actually Pan.
Actually, on there Characters page, there is a note at the bottom which reads: All information is intended to be as spoiler-free as possible. If something seems to be inaccurate, it is because the description is based the earliest information available.
For example, if a character is listed as straight but has since come out, it doesn't mean I'm trying to trick you or that I forgot something. It means I'm trying not to spoil it for new readers.
You know, Rudy sometimes gets on my nerves when he interacts with Drew, because it kind of rubs off as...I dunno, kinda...biphobic, and otherwise close-minded to me, the way he treats him. Also, demanding the Drew choose a sexuality that other one time was upsetting too, because not everyone fits a label. I know that he's justified in in feeling as though Drew was making light of things....but I didn't like some of the rebuttals that came out of his mouth. It sounded too much like "Be one or the other" or "choose a label or else you're not valid". Honestly, Rudy's kind of been bugging me, and I hope this conversation calms him down.
@Lenn: I think the issue is, Drew keeps claiming to be straight or maybe gay. He never accepts the possibility of bisexuality. He can be bi, but he can't be straight and gay.
Well, I sure as Hell don't...care to elaborate, Rain?
I feel Rudy has been a bit dismissive of Drew's confusion. Sure, he's been a little obnoxious a few times, but so was Emily at first, and see how far she's come. I'm not ready to ship Rudy×Drew yet, but he could at least listen to Drew and give him some feedback. The guy's struggles seem genuine.
Finally someone taking Drew seriously! :D
