Fara and Vincent meet again for the first time in fifteen years! Good? Bad? I wonder how this will go.

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
Although the sale is over, Rain - Volume 1 and 2 are still available for purchase. I hope you'll still check it out even if you missed it. (And thank you to everyone who picked up a copy last week or any time.)
Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).
I think Fara is too shocked to be really angry right now and she dosent want to do anything brash in front of Rain. Vincent is deflecting towards the appointment to avoid conflict.
I don't think this is going to end well, for Vincent or for Fara. Neither Jessica nor Rain know-- or even considered-- if Vincent was seeing anyone, or if Vincent is even "straight" after his transition. Likewise, Colin, he of the incredibly inopportune timing, might have come around just in time to get his heart crushed if Fara elects to simply take the tickets and run. Finally, we still have Kellen and Aiken's impending reappearance.
This is going to be a glorious trainwreck and I'm enjoying every second of it.
@Phoebe Z: Mmm... I'm betting Vincent's still single after he said "there's only one Fara." I'm also betting (or at least hoping) those two will hit it off, then Fara will have to figure out what to do about the tickets.
But, both Fara and Vincent were pretty clear about Fara being there for him when he started transition. Surely she must know his name already? I'd just assumed she didn't know who Rain's therapist was exactly or she would've said something already.
Also, if she hadn't heard his name from Rain, and Rain hadn't heard Vincent's story before meeting him, then Fara just outed Vincent to Rain..
Speaking of therapists, Vincent continues to flaunt all the rules for mixing up private matters and client privacy. If this is going to be published you really should add some warnings that 'real therapists aren't like this' or something.
