Maybe some other characters would press Heather further, but Jessica knows how it is to have something she'd rather not let others know about. She's undoubtedly curious, but if Heather says "no", that's the end of that, I guess (for now).

Meanwhile, we get a surprise visit from the embodiment of trouble himself, Chase.

Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

Don't forget, Rain - Volume 1 and 2 are available for purchase. ^_^

Also, I've said this before, but I'm trying to raise money for SRS, and I'm still struggling with it. If you can help, it would be most welcome. If not, don’t worry about it. I totally understand (you don't need to feel bad or apologize if you can’t).

Oh no

reply

Chase showing up can't be good, unless he's just making a cameo for this one chapter.

A sleazebag knows a sleazebag. Shocker...
(Bleh, I guess I shouldn't be too hard Aiken, he is trying to come now, but still. Chase, on the other hand, is just sleazebag through and through.)

Read 561 Pages in one day - THANK YOU!!!

Dear Jocelyn,

OMG, I just found your RAIN-Story today via google and I seriously read ALL 561 parts in a binging way :-)
I love the different characters and I love that every part of the LGBT-Community is represented. I never faced gender-dysphoria but I'm identifying bi myself (even if I've guessed something like that since puberty, I just recently came out to myself and some of my friends (including my boyfriend who thought that I was a straight girl :-))and I feel kind of relieved) Sometimes, I'm still struggeling, thinking that I never had a real girlfriend and just been in relationships with guys and I sometimes fear that I'm kinda not "gay" enough to be "bi" (weird, isn't it). I'm sometimes even afraid to tell my gay and lesbian friends, because I fear they won't take me serious. Well, all I wanted to say i that I think RAIN really helps me to accept myself as I am. Thanks for doing RAIN and thanks for the comment-section - I really had to write this stuff down :-D At least I can just say that I'm looking forward to more adventures of all the girls, boys and anyone in between you invented.

Greetings from Germany,
Fallacy

Every single mention

reply

Every single mention of Aiken confuses me greatly just because it's my last name lol. It makes me think I'm being barked at in the military or something haha.

Love your work!

I get that that's Jessica's reasoning in letting Heather off the hook, but that second panel is just funny. It's like she's contemplating offing Heather for a sec :þ

And then we get the most unwanted person back in our story. And not only that, he's buddies with the second most unwanted person.
Okay, wait, I take that back, there are worse folks of course, like Maria&Rudy's dad. But Chase and Aiken are high on the list in any case.
Well, I was expecting a darker stretch of story again, so let's get this over with quickly.

I am not saying that Chase is a bad guy, but everytime he appears something bad happens. Also, even if he isn't a bad guy until he proves he is a bad guy, he is still a jerk.
