This page kind of explains itself here, I think. Mostly, it's just a lead-in for future developments with these characters later on. We'll be catching up with all them again a bit later on.
But next time: the con. For real.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
I can't wait~!
Om im so excited. Fara, dat man wasnt for you, you'll find someone new soon~
@HermesChildOfRain: New? Nah, someone old. Though I guess new in terms of name and identity.
... or I'm guessing that's who she's calling.
AHHHHHH VARA OMG I AM LIKE SO EXCITED $ THIS!!!
I ship it in the sense that I think something could maybe happen between them. Before you say this is out of the blue, think of Jessica's disappointment in men recently, and Ms. two beer queer. Add alcohol, and things could happen.
Right, but how long after Ms. Two-beer-queer comes out (pun intended) before she finds out that Jessica's trans? And exactly how weirded out will she be? Sure, she accepts Ky (even if, in a not-ideal), but that doesn't exactly mean she's ok getting it on with a trans person.
I agree with you. In fact, for Jessica´s sake, after what happened with Aiken, I would be very wary of anything like that, especially if it began thanks to alcohol. The last thing she needs is for someone else in a romantic setting to invalidate her identity. I mean, I hope Heather casts aside any and all bigotry and learns to support Ky the wat Fara suppports Rain, but that will be happen gradually even if it does happen, so at this point in time I honestly don´t think a romantic entanglement between Jessica and Heather would be healthy.
And speaking of which, I really appreciate the fact Chase is explicitely given the moniker of sex offender. I´m tired of creeps being given "the benefit of the doubt" because of "romance", and being told it´s normal that teenage girls attract the sexual interest of much older guys. Jessica´s unapologetic straightforwardness on this matter gives her a lot of bonus points as far as I´m concerned.
@Erin: I doubt very much it would be healthy, just saying that it could happen. I think that it seems unlikely that they would be together in a lasting relationship because of all the problems that are in the way (Heather's acceptance/ uncertainty of her sexuality, Jessica's trans status and maybe her sexuality(I forget if she's bi or straight)). But it would be interesting to see how each of their characters dealt with something like that, and how they grow from the experience.
At this point it's pretty much confirmed that Jessica was talking about Vincent. Otherwise it would almost have to be someone that we've never been introduced to. (And the only reason I say "almost" is because I've learned that artists and writers tend to find twists I haven't thought of.)
Now we switch back to the con? :o
You have truly mastered this 'always keep your readers wanting more' thing, haven't you? ;)
I hate when writers do that. It's super effective >_<
prediction: it doesnt work out with the guy. the trio goes out for beers. things get rlly gay rlly quick B)
@haha: great, now I have to go write a fan fic. I hope you're happy
This made me think about myself. I can be a pedophile in a year. :( Not that i am, but in a year i'm 18 and it makes me sad to think about that...
