It's been a little while, so let's check back up on Rain and Emily, who encounter (or rather, are encountered by) classmates, Drew, Rob, and Randy. This chance meeting pretty much ends as soon as it starts though, and it doesn't seem like any of the boys got a good look at Emily's belly with her facing the other way. That seemed way too easy. Although something significant must've happened here, or I wouldn't have included the scene. Right...? >_>
On a less plot-related note, the symbol on Drew's is essentially nothing. I wanted him to have on some kind of graphic tee, but I couldn't think of a symbol I wanted to portray, and just whipped something up haphazardly. Now it's just some shapes stacked on top of each other, but it looks kinda cool.
Randy's shirt is a little more something. Unfortunately, it's impossible to read. It says "Squigglyruff Main" with an image of a thing that is presumably Squigglyruff. What the heck is that, you ask? Just me being the Smash Bros fangirl I am, Jigglypuff, being one of my many mains. I thought it'd be funny if Randy shared that affinity for the same character in the Rainverse equivalent, Hyper Bash Kin. ^_^
Rob just wears a green shirt. Nothing noteworthy about it.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

That last panel, they're not looking at Rain. They're looking past her at something. Hmmm...
@Vee: I think that's just a side effect of the way they are drawn and not the intended effect n.nU Though to me they seem to be looking at Rain. Drew's face is probably because he knows Rain isn't 100% straight and might be wondering if they interrupted something.
I was wanting Rain to say something like "And, guys? Kylie's real.". But then it occurred to me that would just make the guys stick around longer so they could pepper her with questions (or argue). So maybe not.
@Adama: Yeah, I thought the same
I do wonder whether this group would consider Kylie or Rain the more "real girl".
Incidentally, I had to rewrite this comment a couple times, because I kept assuming Rob and Randy would have an antagonistic reaction to learning that Rain is trans. Which I find interesting for a number of reasons (none of which I can articulate well).
@Arcanist Lupus: Good question, wasn't lost on me either
In this page, I see Rain returning the favor that Emily has given her: Emily defended Rain from Kellen, standing up strong and generally being awesome.
However, it's exactly as Emily said to her: Rain herself is also awesome, and here she's showing the strength to stand up for herself and assert authority, in this case to protect Emily from her (loosely speaking, for lack of a better term) friends.
Interestingly, though, Randy has shown himself to be fairly open so probably wouldn't be a problem, and Drew's presumably having his mind opened a bit by Ky(lie), so should things go badly and Emily be outted, this is probably about the least-damaging group it could happen among.
Drew needs new friends.
Randy is looking pissed at Rob's speech bubble. Randy knows he is in a comic.
Wait a second, what does Rob know about Ky exactly? How did Randy explain him to his friends? Hmm...
