We shift focus from Rain for a moment to FINALLY catch back up with Jessica and Heather, which many of you have been eager to see for some time. On the other hand, according to responses to my mess of a relationship chart, it seems as though a lot of other people forgot about what happened between Jessica and Heather back in Chapter 24. If you don't feel like clicking around, the short version is that Heather offered Jess a night of alcohol to vent about frustrations in singlehood. While highly intoxicated, the question of "have you ever considered girls" came up. Jess basically says she's straight and then proceeds to kiss Heather.
I guess we can blame that one on the alcohol... >_>
Didn't do anything though, huh? What exactly counts as "anything" when we know there was - at the very least - kissing?

OK, yeah, I'm very confused on the update times. But aside from that, I'm glad we get to go back to seeing Jessica!
Technically, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are the post days. I just post the night before most of the time. I do this for two reasons:
1. It means I'm never late. Even if I get crazy busy and can't post until the next day, it ends up technically being completely on time. Besides, getting it early always feels like a bonus.
2. I get excited. While my readers wait eagerly to see what happens next, I have to wait eager to SHOW what happens next. Sometimes, I just can't help myself. ^_^
@LittleLynn84: That explains why it never seems to add up! It still seems to be either a day early or late sometimes, but I think that's just my bad perception of time, lol! Thanks for clarifying for me and keep up the good work with the comic!
Also, I like that you're so eager to post your work online. It's great to see people give their work love and care!
@LittleLynn84: It might also help to know what time zone you are in. I often don't see you post something until afternoon where I am.
@LittleLynn84: for someone who gets so excited to post pages, you sure do love your cliffhangers
Just how much did Jessica have to drink last night?
@KrimsonNekros: She's obviously a lightweight. XD
... Then again, I probably would be too, if I ever drank.
I imagine they probably had a few bottles of wine (which, for the uninformed, wine is far stronger than beer).
She doesn't sleep in a bed?
Where does she sleep - hanging upside down by her heels from the ceiling?
(Actually, twenty or so years ago, when i was only about fifty or so, i slept on the floor - originally because i couldn't afford a new bed in my new apartment, but later because it was quite comfortable. Now that i'm almost seventy and fat and out of shape, i can't do that any more. I miss it.)
@Fairportfan: I am pleasantly surprised to see that a 70 year old can use a computer well. Not that it matters, I'm just in awe. Mainly because my Great Grandpa who is of similar age doesn't understand how modems work.
(sorry if this comment offends you...)
@Guest: Doesn't bother me - does your computer say something like "AMI BIOS" or "American Megatrends BIOS" when it boots up? I worked as a tech at AMI for two years twenty-five years ago.
Does anyone remember Hayes modems? Worked there from 1980 - 86.
My friends and others of our generation and i were the last of the computer cowboys before the academic and money types started moving in.
Oh sure, there are a few of us left. Back in the seventies we used to race our pet dinosaurs while we waited for our programs to compile. Punch cards are the shiznit, yo. :p
As the other "ancient" can probably tell you, punch cards were already being phased out in the late seventies and sadly I've never won a dinosaur race... all I could afford was a diploducus. Nice animal, but not much for running. ;)
(Not offended at all, just having a little fun.)
Well, normally she sleeps on the living room couch in Rain and Fara's apartment.
@Fairportfan: I don't sleep on a bed either, usually. I just sleep on the living room couch because it's comfier for me. Then I use my bed to relax in when I don't wanna sit on the chair in front of the TV.
Does Heather really think that they didn't do anything? Um, they kissed... Doesn't that count as something? Also, how nice is Heather to get Jessica coffee in the morning? She's really a lot sweeter than she was at the beginning of the story- outing Kylie and all.
I had forgotten about these 2 but that was probably because of what had happened with rain and Keller. I kinda like strips like these which differ from the main event as it creates the feeling of a continuing universe where other stuff is going on at the same time, good job!
I've been guessing she has some intersex condition ever since she revealed she's infertile. I remember a while back, it was revealed that some characters were wasn't specified which ones so as not to be a spoiler. I think that was around the first t-shirt design reveal. Oh, are those going to be available again?
