The ring is class ending, in case that wasn't obvious.
So, of course the really important question here: are Rain and Maria in fact exchanging hair length? O_o
The actual important question: With Debbie getting all up in Rain's face for a moment there, is she actually clocking her, or was it just a generalized statement?

Debbie's mad cause she has no boys holla at her
Ugh. I'm slowly beginning to dislike Debby. Holly, though, just seems to be an unfortunate bystander, here.
Rain could totally use the excuse i used while people were like, why are you growing your hair long, esh, and blah blah blah, before i came out. She could say she donated it for cancer patients. Usually gets people off your back and yea its totally a lie but well, it could be worse.
@Ilena: Actually, it wouldn't be a lie. Remember a few pages back when Fara asked Rain if she'd donate her hair? And it was heavily implied that it was for cancer.
I actually did that. Of course, when I came back down to visit my grandparents after 4 blissful years, they made me chop it all off. I figured "What the hell, might as well actually give it to charity".
"It makes you look like a boy" - rather implies that she still accepts Rain as a girl. ^_^
@Don: Possibly, but Rain's not going to see it that way.
Really, the thing to do would be for Rain to claim that her hair was damaged in an accident, and she didn't have enough left for a decent long cut. This excuse isn't entirely false either, if you define 'bigoted sisters' as a type of accident. She would need an explanation of how the 'accident' occurred, though. This story has the advantage of gaining her sympathy and allowing her to admit that she's not happy with her new haircut.
I have only just discovered your comic, but I wanted to say that I think it is outstanding. I'm up to about #300 after two days. I will be going through withdrawals once I catch up!
a number of years back i didn't realize i had gotten some of the honey i had used at breakfast on my hands until i was putting my hair up in a ponytail. i've never made that mistake again. my hair has grown back out since.
You can wash honey out though. Not that I know from a couple of experiences or anything though ;).
I love Holly so much. I've always had a thing for ditsy, yet kind characters.
