Another pretty straight-forward page. I suppose the big question here is whether Allison actually did clock Ruby or not. Thoughts?
And don't worry, Allison fans: while this is the last we're seeing her in this chapter, this isn't the end of her role in the story.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.

Well, Gavin may have a bit of explaining to do to his mother if she's home when Ruby goes over to change clothes and then leaves presenting as a guy, I would say.
Edit: Nevermind. I thought Gavin's mother may ask questions, but then I remembered this was done before waaaaay back and Gavin's mom was the one that helped Ruby with her clothes and make up.
Nah. Gavin's mom has helped Ruby get ready before, so I don't think she'll care that much.
@LittleLynn84: Yeah, I just remembered that and edited my comic to fit so.
I can see this kicking off a round of GavinxAllison shipping...
A nice, quiet page. :) I can't figure out whether Allison detected Ruby's secret; she didn't have a reason to suspect it, but she's good at keeping secrets.
Should we conclude from your question that it matters whether Allison figured Ruby out or not?
Seems to me, so far it doesn't matter one way or the other.
@Kimiko_0: I think it matters insofar as what it tells us about Allison's character. If she figured it out, and didn't react at all, then she's obviously a cool person. :-) If she didn't figure it out, then we'll have to wait for a future strip to find that out about her.
Plus if she didn't figure Ruby out, then we have a "reaction" page to look forward to, and those are always funny. :-)
Haven't we figured out, that she was cool now, alone because her first reaction upon seeing Rain was to avoid calling her by a guy name, even though she had no idea, how else to adress her.
Arrgh! I did a really long comment and now it is gone.
I am counting the Character appearances and wanted to ask, if I can count Appearances of Ryan from the Rain Delays as Appearances for Rain, since I am counting everyone else in those Shorts as themselves.
After 10 Chapters:
Drew and Holly 21
Debbie and Robert 20
Devon and Heather 18
@Chandelure: Dose this inculed that Extra chapters from the Books, or is it just the online ones.
Though Good job with the tally so far, wouldn't mind seeing a full tally
Sorry, I don't have the books. Maybe someone could count that for me?
@Guest: I have book 3, so I wouldn't mind counting the character appearances in that extra chapter, but I wouldn't feel like it's worth the effort if the other books aren't checked as well.
Regardless, I think what you did is awesome :3 And it's a shame that we've only had the delight of seeing Kylie 35 times thus far.
And we need more Holly and Puddle ^_^
@Maplestrip: Just done with Chapter 14. Chapter 14 was hell! A very long chapter and pages, where we had Rain, Gavin, Maria, Rudy, Fara, Kylie, Emily, Chanel and Puddle!
Emily 61(I expect her at least in the Top 4 by the end of this)
Drew and Holly 23
Debbie, Robert and Heather 21
@Chandelure: MOAR PUDDLE!!!
@Chandelure: My first thought is that Ryan is not Rain, he's another character that Rain used to role-play. So count them separately.
(Edit: I tried to turn "role-play" into a link, but it didn't work. Here's the URL: http://www.egscomics.com/index.php?id=1985 )
Which then leaves the question of whether to give the same treatment to Rudy/Ruby (probably), Ky/Kylie (I'd guess not because Ky actually does change genders, not just role-play), and similarly for other characters we've seen in more than one gender (Vincent, but the female version is REALLY a bit part).
Ultimately, though, if you're the one counting then you get to decide.
I am talking about the Ryan "Ryan the totally normal guy"-Rain Delays. I would definitely count the Ryan in the Aiken-Chapters, because it is Rain roleplaying, so she is there.
@Chandelure: I suppose Ryan the totally normal guy is a completely different character.
I would be happy to see more of Allison and learn more about her. As for the punch I think it happen cause of Rains reaction to her saying so. Maybe it was a test to see what reaction was given. And she realized it was as though she hit a girl.
I know that its weird for people to post about how much a comic has changed their lives but I can't help it. I found Rain while looking for webcomics because it was just another boring day in school. I figured it was just another "Support Us" page for lgbt people but then I started to read. This comic is so much more then you could believe. It gave me something to remember. I found out about my own problems and watched them unfold as much as Rain's life became harder. I knew that not only was I understanding the character, I was understanding myself. So as a message for any survivors out there, Just know that you are loved and that people like us, we have something to live for. Thank you Littlelynn84 for your inspiring come. Stay strong girl!
@thatoneperson16144: That is what I always hope to hear and why I support as many of these as I can. This one is right on the mark and as not just one but many types of LGTB. We are not bad, evil, or sinful like they like to say and think but we are what we are. Most are good loving honest good heart people who just wish to live as we wish and be ourselves and not a lie others wish us to be. We love Cris gender people and wish them to be them and us to be us. That is all. The world is a better, funner, richer, place for it. And for us all. Not just the few. United We Stand Divided We Fall. That is what I was taught yet society never seems to be that. It's about time we stand up for what we say is right and true. And not these lies that divide us all up against one another. :P
@Anna Rei: Fun fact: GOD is on OUR (LGBT, Aces, Het-Allies, and moderates) side, not on the side of those who call LGBT folk evil. They themselves violate the ONLY legitimate commandment (the ONLY ONE which came from the LITERAL MOUTH OF GOD) "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". THEY are the sinners.
BUT STOP STEALING MY NAME!
