First two panels: I wish I could say this didn't happen to me all the time. Keys. Phone. Money. Glasses. It's scary how often I lose things on my person. XD
Anyway, this page features Debbie being very Debbie, and Holly being very Holly. And contrary to how Debbie interprets it, Emily is being very Emily. Real Emily though, as opposed to her fake alpha girl persona. But these two only really know the fake version...
A little mention of prom pops up here too. That's still a ways away, but expect talks about prom to pick up more and more from here.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
As you may probably know by now, I'm saving up for my (hopefully) upcoming SRS date in a few months. If you're able, you can help me out. Buying books, or shirts, or just plain donations are all very helpful right now. Obviously, if you are unable to or don't want to offer anything monetary, that's totally fine and I completely understand. There are other ways you can help. Like voting for Rain on TopWebComics or joining/sharing the Facebook page (or even just telling your friends!) can help spread the word about my work. Thanks for anything you can do; no hard feelings if you can't. ^_^
Thank you for writing this enjoyable and uplifting story. I continue to look forward to each update.
Prom registration? you have to register your date for the prom? or is debbie just reminding emily of the encroaching deadline of prom.
Once I thought I lost my glasses and nearly started panicking because I couldn't find them. I got some strange looks and realized that I was wearing them. I am very scatter brained.
I tend to wear cargo pants and a jacket. Whenever I go anywhere and I need to grab something, I have to play "WHICH POCKET IS IT IN?". My options are some combination of jacket, waist-level, or thigh pockets, and left or right side. It's a good thing that I never use my back pockets; six options is enough for me.
Also, @SaviourInDistress, I know that in at least my high school, you had to register your date for the prom, especially if it's an outside student. Didn't matter if they used to attend but transferred out, they still needed to be registered.
@Lieutenant_Relativity: That is the weirdest thing I have ever heard. At my prom you weren't allowed anyone outside the graduating class thus no one really had a date. It was just a party for graduating basically.
First my keys and phone are missing, next: my sanity.
*immediately begins drawing fanart of Rain and Emily going to prom together*
This may be a job for Gavin.
I do this thing where I'm on the phone with someone and then proceed to tell them I don't know where my phone is. OTL
I didn't have to 'register' for my prom, per se, but did have to buy tickets before a certain date- I think about three months in advance- because the committee needed numbers for the catered meals and gift bags.
This cant be good..... this set up reminded me of a news story of a prom that shutdown because of a lgbt couple..... this wont end well.. if the school rain and emily are in is like that...
