Much later than usual (but not late) post. Sorry for this. I've been a little behind schedule with drawing pages, and I was personally a bit of a mess today. So I apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your patience.
Thankfully, this page happens to be somewhat light-hearted. I needed that. ^_^
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
As you may probably know by now, I'm saving up for my (hopefully) upcoming SRS date in a few months. If you're able, you can help me out. Buying books, or shirts, or just plain donations are all very helpful right now. Obviously, if you are unable to or don't want to offer anything monetary, that's totally fine and I completely understand. There are other ways you can help. Like voting for Rain on TopWebComics or joining/sharing the Facebook page (or even just telling your friends!) can help spread the word about my work. Thanks for anything you can do; no hard feelings if you can't. ^_^
We all need something light-hearted.
@Microrapter: that we do. and this page is adorable!
@Microrapter: I agree with all that been going on the news.
The least subtle thing about Maria is the face punches.
I kind of mourn the loss of their relationship. If they'd fallen in love when they were a little older and knew who they were better, I think they would have been so much happier.
But then we wouldn't have Rainily, and Emily would not have her baby, so I suppose we can't really know.
Hey, I started a Discord chat for the comic! It's grown a lot over these past few days. Come hang out with other Rain Beaus!
We haven't seen Ana yet this chapter.
So, there already is 3 (or 4 inc. Carmen) significant transgender characters. Maybe Ana is a demigirl? She could still have been assigned male, and the operation could still have been SRS. She does present very feminine, so I don't know. Or maybe she had cancer? We've been given very little context, but we know she is LGBTQIA+, because of the 'Aaron' (I think that is the right name) thing. Maybe she was intersex, but raised male? That is considerably more likely. There is already one (known) intersex character, Heather, but she isn't very significant (well, that's debatable, but she, at the moment has been more of a plot device.). So, you never know. The way that Ana's dad talks about how 'he was mistaken' suggests that he made a mistake, misgendering Ana, this may just mean that she is transsexual, but it also suggests that he (or Ana's mum? We haven't seen her.) forced a gender role on her, and insisted that she wasn't a certain gender.
Oh, and I hope everything is Ok!
@inkybinky3: If I'm right, I called it first! (Other people have suggested that she is intersex, so, not that.)
