So, let's switch the scene before people revolt with fire and pitchforks over my not saying what I can't technically say yet. XD
Instead we'll check in on Emily as she finally confronts Brother Arthur. He's a pretty mellow guy, so his calm outward response should probably be expected. That said, I can kind of imagine him screaming in his head right now, which makes his seemingly stoic last line that much funnier to me.
Rain, all characters and all other aspects of the story are copyright material belonging to me.
As you may know by now, my upcoming SRS date is less than a month away (assuming nothing falls through). I'm nervous beyond words, either way. Whatever happens, I'm just trying not to have my brain explode from stress, pressure, and nerves. Your help would be, as always, very welcome right now.

Is he really surprised? His poker face says otherwise
I imagine his inner dialogue is full of Wilhelm right now.
emily's surprise is going to a little more visible than rain's,rudy's,maria's etc.
The poker face only an educator may have. I remember my highschool teacher looks unfazed when facing a lot of teenage problems that may seem like the end of the world for them. They know that if they are panicking too nothing will get solved.
But how will Brother Arthur handle this?
Oh this is a relief to me. I thought she was going to the main bad guy, so I was going to skip this week ^^;
Also, as a side note, I really do like Brother Arthur because he seems pretty nice, and it's very refreshing to see a religious character in a story that isn't an asshole or the paragon of sweetness and puppies
The only surprise here is that Brother Arthur is still so calm.
Drew: Brother Arthur, I am dating a genderqueer person.
Arthur: That is okay.
Ana: Brother Arthur, I am transgender woman that is also post op.
Arthur: This is getting common lately.
Gavin: Brother Arthur, I think I am a Token Straight Best Friend in my group of friends.
Arthur: Well, that is new.
