Because I can't just let things be easy. XD
Can all of Rain and Co. get to prom together and have themselves a night to remember? Probably. But not without solving some Layton-esque game of connect-the-dots that accounts for the main cast being mostly female and mostly queer, with several being underclassmen... and of course we can't forget Ky despite being in a different school. Now that the straight kids are taken care of, what about everyone else?
Things to think about as the chapter progresses. ^_^

I not sure why but Maria seems a bit 'out of character' and this page, She doesn't seem like her usually self
@00Stevo: It's probably because as a rule Maria seems to have everything together, and here she isn't. Also this is one of the few times where she really seems vulnerable.
Is this gonna be like the movie GBF where they open their own LGBTQIA+ prom instead of going to the school's prom?
@TallMist: Never saw that movie but when you said "open their own prom" I immediately thought of this novel:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16066373-nerd-prom
Maria and the rest of the characters in same gender relationships need DETERMINATION and maybe some crazy plan to have a good prom.
Get Rudy to bring her? He's not likely to have a female date of his own, and if he has a male date then Maria can bring him?
@Allie: I think only seniors can go unless they're being brought by someone, so Rudy's too young
Could someone try explaining the American school system, I'm british and don't understand.
@SuchaFawfulGuy: Well this all takes place in a catholic school, not a publically funded school. Basically, parents can say screw the public education system I want my kid indoctrinated! and take them to a school run by a church. This comic does not display the American school system.
Jocelyn!! Hihi I just binge-read through like... 5 and a half years? of this webcomic and I just
Thank you so much
For all of this
Just this entire thing I love it and it makes me so happy and makes me feel a lot better about who I am (as a transgender female) and its really great
Unfortunately, I'm not in an environment in which I can come out (conservative Christian family; my dad despises all things feminine and my mom is severely biased against anything LGBT) and this comic has been like an escape for me
Because at this point I'm a junior in high school now and lately I've been depressed about having missed out on an entire childhood of being able to live my life as who I am and this webcomic has helped alleviate that somewhat for me so just
thank you so much
Please continue doing this and being awesome in general!
