I can't seem to figure out how to write a blurb for this one without spelling things out too much. I'd rather leave this one up to you for now. I feel like this could be a divisive page, but I'm interested to hear what people's thoughts are on Drew and/or Rudy here.

Assuming that Drew does invite Ky (or with regards to Ky's own prom sometime in the future), is Ky going to have to get both a suit and a dress until they wake up that morning and decide which will be more comfortable? Are there fancy clothes that could be made up as feminine or masculine without a great deal of expense?
And this is one of the many reasons I love Rudy. For such a silly guy, he has such a good heart and some really thought-provoking moments.
I do agree with what Rudy is saying, and sometimes people do need the matter-of-fact way and just spell it out for them when it comes to being new to handling LGBT+ sort of situations. So I think what Rudy said is great.
But that aside, is anyone else picking up on some subtext? I feel like Rudy is also saying this in reflecting on how he likes to dress in fem attire and his friends' reactions....
That's fine and all, and even how it should be, *however* the school won't let Ky be his date for the prom if Ky is in guy mode that day. So very well put, and dead on, though for non prom times!
Seriously Drew? I get it, you have reputation to keep, but you do realize that you cant control what Ky feels/Wants to wear, etc right?
@Lilrq28: If what Ky wears and how it reflects on him is more important than enjoying prom with Ky, then Ky isn't the person he needs to be asking.
Or, i guess, more accurately, he isn't the person who should be asking Ky.
Rudy's in the right. You can't just dictate what the person you claim to love does and what they don't do. You don't get to control them just to make yourself look good. If you can't handle being with them, then get away instead of trying to change and control them.
Wise words have been spoken by Rudy Strongwell.
I've joked, the last couple pages, about how "helpful" Rudy was being.
This page he finally gets tired of it and let's Drew have it right between the eyes.
I have to agree that there's almost certainly some element of ... "self-pity" isn't the exact thought ... more seeing his own life's present and future difficulties in it.
Ky needs to wear a dress to not get thrown out... Drew is being an idiot about reasons but come on, Rudy should be smart enough to realize this bit.
Hey! I was wondering if you'd ever consider posting this comic on tapastic? You might be able to reach a new audience there and I believe there's an option to make money off of ads there. (I could be wrong tho). It'd also make it easier to keep track of new updates and junk. I dunno, this is just a suggestion. Have a nice day!
@Keiya ah, a more reasonable reader of Rain, I see.
Also: foreshadowing!
